Art Trek - 8 Opening flix

A little bit of the opening of Art Trek 8 which I had some pieces in. Nice night, and I have gotta say, Jack Teagle is the goods, his work is a lot of fun. It was a pleasure to meet the talented Til and Paul from Berlin and to have the Vagabundos in the show. Ephameron broke out some of her watercolors, providing something different for her local peers and audience.

DVATE

Melbourne stylist DVATE has a show on at the moment,  a fresh writer and dedicated as they come, check it...

Young and Free - San Francisco

Im not the biggest fan of writing on canvas but in a gallery setting I usually still like to express myself via letters, so I make these paper cut pieces that show the depth we see in our letters. It suits my sense of accuracy, makes me contemplate my outlines more, tests my patience / endurance and makes me feel like a kid cutting and pasting, anyway ..

The above is something I just typed for my Flickr page.

So...., ok, I am thankful and happy to be in a show of this calibre, I am not figurative, and my work doesn't speak the same language as most punters at street art shows read/speak, so it will be interesting to hear how it's perceived. Looking forward to it..

Art Trek - 8 This Saturday night. Drop everything, come.

I've seen the others work. Yep, great illustrations, and music by the combined forces of Droel and the bird painting Mio himself. Should be fun, so if your in Antwerp, you know what to do!

New

Keep all my things wrapped in aluminum...

No daylight hours free for a month while I do some work for

http://www.youngandfreeart.com/ and

http://www.art-trek.be/

so this sort of thing might have to suffice.

New Mio

Mio suggested I try a rounded W. So I did a complete sketch on paper. On this adventure I tried to integrate the orbital paths to become more of an integral part of the letters. This one feels like a stripped back piece, a little less fuss going on. It's been good fun painting with Mio of late. We have a couple more rough ideas in the woodwork, to further combine our stuff.

Step In the Arena - Eindhoven 2011

This years event went off. Bigger and badder. There was so many pieces and styles to digest. Here is a few of them. Thanks to Mister, Dave and Chas for their organization and hospitality.
