I didn't come that well prepared, barely an outline and not enough paint. The 2 color outline and second outline/arrows being the same color attest to that... Having said that, i don't mind it though, and it was good painting with these guys...

My usual art nouveau cross retro space influences. I was stuck for what to do and remembered admiring some 50's and 60's tin robots in a friends store, so i cranked one out.

I couldn't stand back far enough for a photo, my wife managed to stitch my 3 uneven flix together. Thanks!

Another day at the office.

So....I got to the wall, and realized i left my sketch at home, making my bad mood worse, i wasn't down for a freestyle.... Then the wall was leaking water continuously and had to dry it before every line i did, just to have the previously dry black roller paint bleed over the piece again and again.... It's not what i had in mind, but when you wanna paint, you paint!!

This was started a few months back, painted tropical fish in the snow! It was going to be gone over unfinished but i quickly finished the last few fish today......

I caught up with these guys and had a fun afternoon painting. Thanks to Casroc also, for organizing the spot to paint.

2010...

I spent the first week of the year trying to get some pieces done. It has been a bit of a novelty painting in below zero temperatures in January as opposed to the summer conditions in Melbourne.

I got this six done and on the seventh day i finally went to visit Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain and saw the 'Born in the streets' exhibition. An amazing show for anyone interested in earlier NYC writing. Seeing the old blackbooks, train keys and the video interviews coco 144 conducted were great. I left super inspired.....
