Harry Crews - Writer

Harry Crews is a writer of a different sort that wouldn't normally appear on my blog. He writes literature, not writing with a can of paint. He seems to have had an existence that I as an aerosol writer and person can relate to and learn from. I don't usually look within our thing for inspiration, more to people like him. Enjoy the link.

How will you be discussing you pieces, and I don't mean gallery work, but your walls in 20 or 30 years?

Dabs Myla

So....., I was really looking forward to my good friends Dabs and Myla visiting.
The first afternoon they arrived we pumped out some freestyle silvers for the sport of it. It's enjoyable with these guys as it's a team effort, not just painting your own piece.
Knowing they were visiting, the previous weeks were spent putting my left hand to can control practice in anticipation of getting to do a nice production together, but......
I managed to injure my back packing up my paint for the production, and got trapped on my apartment floor. So instead, they kindly became nurses for a day or so and then got me off to a doctor. Fortunately they managed to get pieces done with what little time they had left, which made me feel better about the ordeal. They also discovered the brilliance of Speculoos spread in my pantry.
Click on your right there where it says DabsMyla, and check out the vid of their recent Mexico wall and their take on the above events.
Also thanks to Myla's killer Brie and salad sangas, Mr Chin up himself Mio, and the expert ambulance driving paramedic Jush.

And now for the left hand

Good times with Mio.

Had to be a south paw of late, still at least another month of not using my right arm. It's been a fun challenge trying to draw and paint.

The nice folks Dabs and Myla are in town, and it's always a blast to hang out and paint together. Although I did my whole piece with Mio, we shared duties with these silver pieces above and to everyones benefit I managed to skip the difficult lines. More ambidextrous action to come.

Prozak New Mio

Things got a little out there, acid, flying V's, Jupiler, a touch of circuitry, and in retrospect a 70's dance floor... Fun times with Prozak (Sao Paulo) and Mio.
