LMK - TRSH Episode 1

Some fun from Trondheim

At Electron in Breda NL 3rd October

I have kind of lost track of what shows my wife has on at the moment but I've been there for a fair bit of the set up of this Dutch/Belgian exhibition of predominantly illustrators. It's pretty much all installations.
I know everyone's work pretty well but it packed some welcome surprises for me. Worth a look if you're in the area, a quality show for lovers of contemporary illustration.

Sybe New

The Aussie disease has been spreading across Western Europe of late. I had the pleasure of catching  up with Melbourner Sybe and we broke out a bit of freestyle fun.

That was now, this is then. Set up and opening night.

The master!

Big thanks to Montana Cans for the support, Pascal and Adnate. Heidelberg came out for a good summer nights party. The party was still going strong when I left at 2am. The south american super bartender was making great drinks, too hard to pass up. I was getting a bit all over the place in conversation, glad I left when I did.
It was a very relaxed, well paced set up for the show, great for a change. We met a lot of good people on this visit and got a tour of the paint factory. Thanks everyone!!!

New - Step In The Arena

Was feeling pretty burnt out at the time but am pretty happy with this small scale piece. I managed to squeeze in a fair portion of the detail I had in mind.
I'll post jam flix and the joiner soon of our Aussie / Dutch wall...including Sago, New, Dvate, Sofles, Poen and more...

Virtual tour - Step In The Arena 2013

A pretty cool virtual tour. Although you can't quite see all the walls, it gives you a look at a lot of the pieces done. Follow the icon to take a look in 3 of the 4 tunnels and a bit of the outer walls.

St. Niklaas Belgium. Free style fun based on the metallic gold paint we buffed the wall with, benching lots of panels and getting sun burn in what felt like tropical Belgium..

Bums, Ren, Dvate and New. We drove to Germany and caught up with friends, painted fast and drove straight back. A long, long day driving in the middle of a week with little sleep...but good fun and worth it..

The Heidelberg adventure is covered here:
Montana-cans blog. Downunder all over

And thanks to Dvate, the stitch master put a couple of joiner flix together.....

Great line up this year at NL's biggest jam. About 6 of us Aussies are there, should be fun.

Occult Street Rituals - Dabs Myla New2

We joined forces again to come up with this craziness...The following video gives a partial insight into were we are coming from.

Middelburg - NL

We went up to Zeeland and painted the interior of a skatepark with some of the CFH guys and friends. Nice to catch up with a few guys and meet some new friends. Thanks Super A for the invite. Thanks MTN again for the paint.

Throwin' shapes with Dabs and Myla at Villanella / De Studio Antwerp Belgium

It's been awesome fun catching up with the dynamic duo Dabs and Myla again. Rain delayed play, but we got there. We sampled most Belgian sweets, cakes and pastries while painting this one.
Thanks to MTN.
